So this week we walk on the ‘other’ side of Cryptozology, I guess you can even say the ‘crypt’ of Cryptozology! Crypt. We do not stray far from the territory of the Trinity Alps Giant Salamander either… this week we find ourselves in the middle of the forests of Mount Eddy (nor cal represent)on the trail of the ever elusive Ghost Deer.
The Ghost Deer or Deer Ghost, has been seen on and off buy hunters in the canyons of Mount Eddy since at least the olden times. It’s sightings becoming more common in recent years. The cryptid is said the look like a Deer that is also a Ghost, it is said to be as large as two great Danes, and weigh about 235 ghost lbs, which is like 0 human lbs. People who are into deer say it has antlers with 10 points on one side and 12 points on the other side. Ghost deer mainly appears to shitty hunters, here is one hunter’s eye witness story “I saw the Ghost Deer, I saw it clearly at dusk up on the ridge. It had 12 points on one side and 10 on the other. I shot at it but missed.”-Local Hunter. Shooting and ‘missing’ the Deer are common in most sightings, Ghost Deer being a Ghost must make it difficult for these hunters, who definitely aren’t drunk or anything, “to bag and tag” one as they like to say. Now for a special treat, below is photographic EVIDENCE that not even those asshats at the fucking NPS can deny.
